Delivery Rules

• Standard delivery is kerbside only – should you need anything other than this option, please contact us for a price. Delivery does not include unpacking or positioning or assembling items.
• Every order you place is confirmed with an order acknowledgment from Caterfair Ltd which includes detailed notes regarding acceptance of a delivery
• Deliveries must be unpacked and checked for any damage BEFORE accepting the goods in good condition by signing for them with the carrier. Should the carrier refuse to wait, the goods must be signed for as damaged or refused. Signing “unexamined” or “unchecked” will not be grounds for a claim.
• All claims for damage on delivery must be reported within 24 hours of the item being delivered as per our terms and conditions. Should you wish to report a damage on delivery, you will need to complete the online form available via the distributor portal.
• Claims for damage after 24 hours of the goods being received will NOT be considered by Caterfair.
• Caterfair indicates the timescale for delivery on the order acknowledgement. Should this be a week commencing delivery, Caterfair will be unable to be more specific. If you require a specific date of delivery, this is a premium upgrade. Prices for our best selling products for delivery upgrades are available on our website.
• All goods despatched from Caterfair clearly state that the unit must be checked by means of a large explanatory yellow sticker.

• When a delivery is attempted but subsequently fails a redelivery charge will apply. For items with a packed weight up to 50kg the charge will be £50. For items with a packed weight over 50kg the charge will be £100. If delivery fails on the second attempt the order will be returned to Caterfair and our restocking charges will apply. Restocking is charged at 30% for goods valued over £200 and 50% for goods under £200 as per our terms and conditions (4.6). Regarding deliveries; please consider the following:

• Have you checked the entrance to their premises to make sure the delivery will fit? Caterfair Will NOT accept responsibility if the goods will not fit.
• Have you organised assistance to handle and move the heavy goods once delivered?
• Be aware the delivery is kerbside only?
• Be aware that you must check their delivery for damage on arrival. They are signing for “goods received in good condition” regardless to the condition of the packaging.
• Do you have the correct equipment to open the packaging with on delivery?

Equipment Warranty

• If an item is ‘back to base’, the user of the equipment will need to cover costs involved to return this unit back to the required base. Warranty can be invalidated by a manufacturer through misuse or a third party attempt, other than anyone authorised by the manufacturer, attending a warranty issue.
PLEASE NOTE: MANUFACTURER WARRANTY IS ONLY VALID FOR MAINLAND UK INSTALLATIONS
Please note that should the unit be attended by anyone other than a manufacturer authorised engineer, the warranty will be invalidated.
